If you’ve ever felt behind in life—whether in your career, relationships, or creative dreams—you’re not alone. I’ve been there, too. From leaving corporate to changing industries, pivoting businesses, starting over in new cities, and even getting married in my thirties, I’ve had so many moments of wondering if I was late, off-track, or missing something.
But over the years, I’ve learned how to trust the timing of my life, even when it didn’t look the way I thought it should… because so often, looking back, I’ve been incredibly grateful that things worked out the way they did. Today, I want to share three reminders that will help you stop comparing, find peace in the present, and truly believe you’re right on time. ✨

3 Reframes to Trust the Timing of Your Journey
1. Know Every Step Is Adding Up to Serve You
When you’re in a job you don’t love or a season that feels stagnant, it can feel like wasted time. But in hindsight, every skill and experience builds your future. I didn’t know it then, but the years I spent in corporate—learning graphic design tools, managing events, even navigating office politics—ended up being the best training ground for running my own business. What felt frustrating at the time became the exact toolkit I needed later.
So if you’re in a season you don’t love, try reframing it as preparation. This may be your growth before the harvest. Everything you’re learning now is setting you up to go faster and stronger in your next chapter.
2. Sometimes Chaos Is Just Rearrangement
When life doesn’t go as planned, it’s easy to think you’re being blocked or left behind. But what if it’s actually the universe rearranging things for something better? Looking back, I see how my own frustrations were redirecting me toward what I truly wanted—like the restlessness in my corporate job that made me willing to take the leap on starting a business.
So instead of making yourself wrong, try this belief: life isn’t ignoring your prayers; it’s just moving pieces around to deliver them in the best way possible. Trust the rearrangement. It could be pointing you toward exactly what you asked for—or even something even better. 💪
3. Your Timeline Is Yours Alone
It’s easy to look around and think everyone else is ahead—with the marriage, kids, promotions, or picture-perfect life. But fast-forward a few years, and you realize everyone’s timelines get jumbled. People change careers, relationships shift, families expand in unexpected ways. There’s no ONE track.
Your only real comparison is you versus you. What matters is that your choices bring you joy, growth, and alignment. Your soul’s timeline is unique, and your path can’t be measured against anyone else’s.

The next time you feel behind, remember: every step is preparing you. What looks like chaos may just be rearrangement. And most importantly, your timeline is yours alone. Trust the timing of your journey—you are exactly where you’re meant to be. And one day, you’ll look back and see how this season was shaping you for the dreams you’re walking into. 💛
